I’m at the tail end of nearly two months in Cancale, France in the region of Brittany, known for summers sans sweltering heat, heavily salted (insanely delicious) butter, blue shutters, hydrangeas that grow like weeds in the most fabulous colors you’ve ever seen, oysters (among other seafood), and Breton style sailor tops.
