Why I've been traveling for eight months

Eight months of continuous travel in nine countries, my current total tally, objectively sounds like an extensive period of time to have been on the road living out of a suitcase. But it’s honestly whizzed by, and I don’t imagine I’ll be ready to change course any time soon.

Here is where I’ve been so far:

Mexico City - Dec
Lisbon - Jan
Florence - Feb/March
Turkey (business trip)
Montenegro (a hilariously horrid week)
Glasgow - April
Edinburgh - May
London - May/June
Cancale (in Brittany, France) - July/Aug
Throughout Denmark - Aug/Sept

When I sold most of what I owned and left Santa Barbara, my goal and intention was to experience various locations outside the US to figure out where I might want to live and build a home longterm. And although that’s still something I aspire to do, my short term plan has changed.
